I run AVG and got a warning tonight. It goes as follows;
AVG Resident Shield.
Trojan horse Downloader. Keenval.C is found in file
C:| System Volume Information\_Restore{341E64D9-6D22-4FA2-8A75-8DB8E1135267}\RP483\A0368264.exe
To remove this virus please run AVG for Windows.
I have run AVG twice and also PC-Cillin and neither have picked it up. I have cleared my Internet history, cookies and Temporary folder but it still keeps warning me. Can anyone help please?

Turn off System Restore, scan again to be sure it has gone, SR back on. click here

This will delete your existing restore points.

normally i dont advocate turning off system restore as you lose all previous restore points but as you are now up to RP483, then that must be taking up some space on your hard drive, if you havent already turned off system restore, and would like to remove the infected entry ONLY, let me know and i will point to a previous thread of mine which explained how to do this.

if you have already taken Vog's advice, click here, download, install and run a full scan of Anti Trojan Shield (ATS) this will check your system for trojan's.

good luck
