Trojan horse Virus

I ave a free AVG anti virus programme and it has come up I have a Trojan horse PSW. Bispy.A in C:\WINDOWS\BI.DLL which cannot be remove. Can someone please advise and help as this free software does not offer support.

You have a trojan by the sounds of it mate. They are different to viruses and antivirus programs usually do exactly that. Kill viruses. Not trojans. There are many free trojan removers that you can download.

There is another neat way. You can put a floppy in your drive, go to the annoying file and right-click-select 'move to floppy'. If this does not work reboot in safe mode (keep hitting F8 and select safe mode) and do the same...transfer to floppy.

cant find file and when i used that anti virus scan did not see it on it. im at aloss at moment

Its a browser helper object, maybe yours was corrupted.
You have to remove the registry entry for the file.

cd "%WinDir%\System"
regsvr32 /u ..\BI.dll

After doing this and restarting the computer you can delete the DLL file from the Windows folder

IM WINDOWS 98SE AND I HAVE LOOKED FOR SYSTEM RESTORE IN ACCESSERIES- SYSTEMS TOOLS AND CANNOT FIND IT
