Sorry, I had forgotten what a mess this forum makes of Symantec addresses. Try click here , wait a few seconds, and you will be redirected to the Symantec (Norton) link I gave previously.

Thank you so much for all advice given on this site.We were at a loose end what to do but thanks to symantec download we are as good as new.We were worried about using it as the virus would not allow us to access safe mode or disenable the system restore( for xp )but we ran it anyway, keeping our fingers crossed.........and it worked!!!
So thanks once again

Anti-Virus firms rate the YaHa Virus as High rated.

It spreads by emailing itself to everyone in your address book. It may also try to shut down firewalls and anti-virus programs.

Computer users are being advised to delete any suspect emails they receive, as well as updating their anti-virus software.

Yaha.K arrives in an email disguises as an .exe or .scr attachment, with a variety of subject lines and messages related to hacking, love, hate and porn.

Sample subject lines include:

Are you in Love
You are so sweet
Shake it baby
Sample Playboy
Wanna Hack ??
Free Screensavers
Need a friend?
Free Win32 API source
Wanna be a HE-MAN
One Hackers Love
Anti-virus firms say the worm may also launch a denial of service attack against a Pakistani Government website, infopak.gov.pk.
