I keep getting a message -"Trojan Horse Dropper Pecadrop B in c\Ssystem Volume Information\-restore etc etc etc.To remove please run AVG for Windows"I run a full test on AVG but it doesn't find a virus or an infected file. Do I contact AVG?
It is in a Restore Point.Turn off System Restore, run AVG just to be sure, then re-enable System Restore click here
No - the intruder is in the System Restore files which are system protected and therefore cannot be acted upon by Anti-virus.You need to disable System Restore which will flush them out and then re-enable it. Note, you wiil lose restore points in this process but easy come, easy go.
