Can anyone give me a solution on the removal of the above virus, tried all the usually suggested programs with no success. I have AVG PRO which finds the file but can't do anything with it. The problem is on my sons desktop which seems to have stopped his internet connection, i have a network and both pc's seem connected (says signal strength is strong on monitor) but will not load internet at all.The local connection status seems to say pkts sent is ok but nothing being received. I thought trying a system restore back to an earlier date but pc has not stored any earlier dates for some reason, is it possible the virus may have caused this??

it was only a hopefully reasonable suggestion ; I think he has managed to register and log in there; now he has to sus out their layout , which can be a tad strange after being here, then post his log and await a helper

Yes I am sure that you are right .There is not a lot of info regarding the Trojan that he has on his computer.Better letting the experts fix it for him.
