Trojan horse backdoor............

Hi all.

I have just removed Norton anti-virus & installed AVG. Norton was basically rubbish.

I have performed my first scan with AVG(free version) & it has found two 'Trojan Horse Backdoor.Hupigon.4GSQ' infections.

I have googled these but all it came up with is Spanish speaking websites. If i search UK only then no results are found.

It's not a problem as i have quarantined the said infections but i am curious as to why there's no english speaking sites. Maybe Hupigon is a Spanish word?

I was just curious to find out what the infection was & what it does.

could be a false positive but maybe you should pose the question on the avg forum?

Thanks for such a quick response.

I've no idea what a false positive(i'm not really computer savvy) is but thanks anyway.

Your link was helpful recap, cheers.
