Trojan Horse

I have just installed McAfee and ran a virus scan which brought up a number of unwanted files plus 1 trojan horse when I tried to clean/delete/quarantine I get the message ...Disk is write protected. File cannot be deleted.
The information with the files is;C:\_Restore\Archive\FS746.CAB Trojan Horse MSN Period.
The info for the other files is C:\_Restore\Temp\A0209806.CPY and various versions of this number.

Unfortunately you will have to turn off System Restore before being able to remove it.

The files it is detecting are copies in System Restore.

Turn off System restore and then reboot and switch it on again. The files will no longer be there. You'll loose all your restore points though. If you don't want to loose them then leave it as it is. The virus can't affect your PC from their anyway.
