Try turning off System Restore, restarting and then running AVG in Safe Mode.

If it is in a compressed (.cab) file it cannot do any harm unless you extract it from there.

It could be a false positive. See if a² click here agrees with AVG.

hi all, well, A2 found two files, the names did not look the same, but i will now wait for the next avg full scan and see what happens...thanks

The file is inside the file c:\eied_s7.cab which AVG can't open and remove.

Just delete the file c:\eied_s7.cab and rescan. Not sure if you should? Do a Google on eied_s7.cab click here Brings up loads of Virus references.
