S.O.S. I've got alert from Kaspersky AV Scan. I tried to 'Disinfrcted' 3 files but failed, so I deletled all of them. Every time when running scan, I've got the smae alert and deleted the same files. How can I get rid of the virus? Can anybody help?

I've taken Stalion's advice by downloading a2 Scanner. Removed 8 malware files and today, removed another 2 malware files. Re-scan and make sure it's clear. Then, I run Ad-Aware se, notifying me of 10 Critical Objects needing to take care, which are exectly same names as a2 mentioned. What Should I do? Please help!

Where do these programs say the malware files are located?

Download CleanUp! click here

Run CleanUp! click on Options and tick Delete Cookies. Then click OK.

Click the CleanUp! button.

When it has finished working accept the option to restart your PC.

Thanks to VoG. I've followed your instruction to get rid of all the malsare files by using CleanUp! However, today I ran Ad-Aware again and found that there were 1 Critical objects (Located in C:\Document and Settings\xxx\Cookies\[email protected])and 7 Negligible objects (MRU list). What should I do next? Please help!

The mediaplex cookie isn't really anything to worry about click here

Neither is the MRU (Most Recently Used) list.

I would just scan with Ad-aware about once a week and let it delete all critical objects.

in adaware check your quarantined items if there are any there hilight the file and delete it

Big thanks to VoG for helping me out of my misery. Also thanks to stalion's respond. I'll run Ad-Aware regulary and delete the files if I need to. I confirmed that my problem has been resolved. Thanks once again!
