I have pc-cillin 2002 on my pc. After the latest update i keep getting a message saying virus detected unable to clean/quarantine. I have tried AVG 6.0 but this doesn't recognise the file as a virus. On pc-cillin it says C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\COM.DLL is where the file is located. Every time i access any part of the windows explorer (hard drive, media player, internet etc.) i get the message.

Can anyone please help?

If you are running XP, disable System restore (rt click My Computer, Properties, System tab. Remove tick from box)
Run your Antivirus prog and then reenable system restore. Make sure your AV is up to date
