Transfering MS Office between PCs

I have three copies of Office XP and I want to transfer one of them from a machine that I no longer use onto a new computer, can I just unistall and then install on the new pc or do i need to do something special with the licence?

I should add that each of the three copies is an original with discs and separate code

click here This just about sums it up for you. You need to determine if the Disksyou have are full retail versions or OEM versions. You should be able to tell from the Licence Key on the packaging. It will say OEM in the key normally.

You could try and if it fails Activation ring MS (freephone number will be given) and explain the situation. See if they give you a new Activation Code.
