Hi all,

I have just purchased a new deck top complete with xp pro.

My old Pc also has XP Pro on it and a my documents that takes up 35.4 GB.

I wish to transfer the whole my doc's file to my new pc. can I do this simply by connecting a wire between the 2?

My only other option is using an 8 GB flash pen to do it in stages.

All advise gratefully received.

Regards
Gemma

If you have a cross over cable already then see the link above, if not just use the flash drive.

Sorry it's been so long getting back.

In the end I cleaned up my file a bit and then used the * GB flash to transfer the remainder in stages. It took me about 3.5 hours but all is now on my new PC.

Thanks again
Gemma
