hey up - - if you have a TV card in your PC, just feed the 2nd RF output from your Sky+ thingie into the ariel socket of your TV card on your PC - -sorted.

but then again, if you ain't got a TV card in your PC - - - -

You will need a TV card of some sort and copy it manually. Sky+ hard drives can't be read by a PC (I think they may be "locked" the same way as Xbox hard drives, or have a different filesystem). Even if you got the files off it, they're not standard MPEG-2 streams - Sky TV uses Videoguard encryption, which is recorded with programs stored on it's hard disk, so is unplayable on a PC.

is there a software that i can use to get around their encryption?

but if i get a tv card i can still record what im watching from the telly so if i play back the recording and copy it from the tele it should work ok. (should it)

also what tv card would work best with my graphics card? (do any have scart connections or just s-video)

cheers
