transfer from C to D drive

  thospot 21:35 11 Feb 2006

How could I unload some of the items from my C drive which is nearly full to my D drive. Can it be done easily.. Thank you

It can just drag and drop

Thanks wobblymike. Does that mean everything?>

Does it matter if the C and D are on differnt hard drives?.

  wobblymike 21:49 11 Feb 2006

Don't try and move your OS and no it doesn't matter if their different hard drives although in this case rather than drag and drop just cut and paste otherwise you will have the files you moved on both drives

You can't do this with programs, just data.

How could I transfer programs then, VoG..

  thospot 22:07 11 Feb 2006

Would it mean un-installing the programme and then re-installing it on the D drive?...

easiest and most problem free way is to unistall them and reinstall.

During install just change the default file path.
