just bought one for my daughter. properties say two drives C amnd E 50+Gb each rather tahn one drive. Do you know if there are two drives or is the disc partitioned in the factory

You keep the Software on the "C Drive" and store all your Work/Files on the "E Drive".

This makes Backing-up a doddle.

TheDisc as a Partition, it may also have a hidden Partition. Do not mess with Partitions, as you may not be able to Restore your Computer in case of problems. Your Best way is buy Acronis True Image, You can then Restore your computer even if it will not Boot. Provded it's not a Hardware Problem
