Toner woes

I was wondering how similar the cartridges are for the Samsung 1060 and the 2010.
I have a 2010 but I have notices the 1060 carts are significantly cheaper.
Has anyone used a 1060 cart in a 2010 printer?

The boxes will tell you what printer they can be used in. If it doesn't say the 1060 cartrdige can be used in the 2010 then its almost certain it can't. If there is a price difference it is most likely they can't.

Why not refill it, If you look there should be a plstic bung in it Do this in dark conditions. Do NOT Try to Wash Toner off with Hot Water it will make it worse

I have both of those printers. No, the cartridges are not interchangeable.

Why not refill as woodchip suggests - it will save you a lot of money.

I have a Samy 1520 & refill. It is sooo easy to refill with no mess and can refill at least 3 times. At a fiver a refill its 10 times cheaper ;-)

I have always refilled. My previous Samsung 1520 came with a small capacity starter cartridge which proved difficult to refill. The full sized cart was easy to refill. Unplug and pour you might say.

I am expecting a similar situation with the starter cart on the 2010 so I am prepared to buy a full sized (and easily refilled) cart.

Have you got an email address for cartridgeco,as the link to toner loops back on its self. It also is the same if you go onto Inks & Toners. Thanks David

Managed to get to HP Toner Refill, the web page takes a very long time to load ( I am on dial up), and it still has a tendancy to loop back on itself. Thanks David
