I have on my networked pc at work over 2000 tmp files totalling 98mb.
They are in the c/documents and settings/broggsy/locals/
they date back to 2002.Is it safe to delete them?
Mine is the least used of the pc's in the network, possibly only half an hour per day.I dread to think what all the other pc's are like in the network as they are not maintained or defragged etc. They are in use all day long and are very slow compared to mine.

Yes you can happily delete them all---edit-select all-file-delete.

To be safe, delete them but keep them in your re-cycle bin for a week or so. If a program reports that a file is missing, look there first. If it's there, right click and select resore and it will go back to the place it came from.

When I right click and select delete it says that these are system files and may cause some programs to run incorrectly if I delete them.Is it safe to delete?
