Wife's laptop using Thunderbird and my old BT email address has stopped receiving emails. It can get them via webmail but cant get them via thunderbird.

It should get them from my domain name as it has been for several years, I haven't altered any settings so am thinking it may be BT's new servers. Anybody know if I have to alter things in the BT account to get 'third party' emails?

You should be able to access your domain mailboxes without any problems via a BT connection - I do it all the time. Sending via your own smtp server can sometimes be problematic. I can recall having to register my wish to do this with BT. They're worried about people using their mail servers for relaying. It might be worth looking into that with them.
