Tiscali and new wireless network

I am considering installing a new wireless network and I have Tisacali 1mb broadband. I have read in a previous post some time ago that you need Tiscali's own router to have a wireless network. Is this true and if not, which other routers work well.

No that is not true.

I have tiscali broadband on a wireless network. I use a belkin adsl wifi router. It works brilliantly.:-)

Thanks for that old_git. I don't suppose you remember how much your router was and where you got it from. Also the full name of it. Thanks.

Yes it's a belkin F5D7632uk4

It was on special offer at maplins earlier this year, one of their sales. It came packaged with a usb wifi network adaptor and cost around £45. Excellent value.

setting the system up took about 10 minutes. Just connected it hardwired to the main PC. Put the settings into the router. Disconnected the lan cable and set the network to the router via wifi.;-)
