Just had this message via e-mail from Tiscali:"Due to essential service enhancements you may experience a 1 hour break in your Broadband service on 31-Oct-05"Should you experience any problems following this please contact our Customer Support team on 08707442922 ( National Rate) 8am to Midnight 7 days a week."Unfortunately it doesn't say what hour of the 24 available and, if you have any problems afterwards, you are supposed to contact Tiscali at your own expense....:-)

Just a thought. It may only apply to particular areas of the country, but it's only a guess.My local telephone exchange was enabled for Broadband many years ago - a mate was the exchange manager and was years ahead vision wise.
