As a tablet user of advancing years and failing eyes, finding those sockeys on the edge of a tablet with a black surround is a problem- is it for you? Tis is what I did.

Plugged in that phones/USB/charher and with a dab of Tippex[I still had some from umty years ago]

dabbed some around the socket egde and in the case of the USB/HTMI on to thev top face.

Now Ican see the.

Alternative to Tippex coloured adhesive tape or alittle strip of foil grued into place may also serve

Don't think i would stick bits of foils anywhere near ports in case something shorted out..

Excellent idea Jack, you can still buy Tipp-Ex it's £2 at Tescos.

Thank you for the positive responses chaps.

Reading my original once more, I need now work round predictive text--edit before sending. Finding the on screen keys is easy----expand the screen.

I only use one socket on my Samsung and can find that and insert power connector in the dark

I can't see why you would want to do it in the dark but you really need to see which way up the plug is - i.e. with the 'Samsung' marking facing upwards.
