Anybody know how I can open one? it came through Tiscali fax but won't open!

tif I think is tagged image format. This is usually a graphics file format. Usually you could use a graphics programme to open. In Windows Paint might do it. Or you might be able to use insert it into a Word document as a file or picture. This might enable it to be read.

Worth waiting for other more knowledgeable Forum members.

downloaded and tried to open the attachmentbut it doesn't recognise the file format!!

Are you sure that the file extension is correct? If it's definitely a TIFF then it should have the extension .tif and any decent image viewing or editing software should be able to open it.

If it has that extension, but Irfanview can't recognise it, then it's (a) not a TIFF, or (b) corrupt.
