Three options in boot up

  TN 23:00 14 Aug 2009

I had to re-install Windows XP this afternoon and because of a couple of errors during the process I have been left with 3 options at boot-up: i.e. Windows XP, Windows XP1 and Windows XP2. Is there a simple way to delete the first and last as the middle one is the one that I require? All help appreciated.

Start run type msconfig - boot.ini tab - check boot paths.

if that doesn't work then edit he boot.ini file at c:\boot.ini to get rid of the options.
