Thread disappeared

A thread on the choice of P2P programs disappeared while I was typing a response, P2P is used for downloading open source programs like Open Office for instance and I do not understand why the thread was deleted (by FE?)

Like you I use P2P software to download legitimate software, it seems, however, if you mention this you will be quickly condemned as a pirate and the heavy handed approach is quickly adopted.
