Well as it goes, there is a fault on the Motherboard I got right now, the Power Button does not work and the pwr lead is plugged into the motherboard correctly, I spoke with my friend today and he give me 2 options:

And Retain my Current Hardware but I have to add a PCI Express Card

or the second option

Go upto AM2 Range means Changing the Ram

But if I went to a AM2 Mobo would I still be able to use my Socket 939 AMD 3800 Chip on the Mobo??

Thanks in Advance

Rob

am2 is socket 940 I believe and the 939 cpu does not fit

Regarding using your old processor the answer is no.
If the computers fast enough for you then get a socket 939 board and either either get an AGP version and use your card, or get a new PCI Express version and a new graphics card. Its up to you. If you play games I'd get a new graphics card anyway and with PCI Express theres more choice.

Thats what my first advice was - I will look into it.
