Great, now I can have 4g ram or more in my soon to-be-built 32bit utilises under 3g.

32bit with XP Home utilises 3.2Gb RAM out of 4Gb.

XP 64bit will only recognise 4GB as the architecture of the OS doesn't work the same as Vista/W7. click here
