Is there a reliable FreeWare template for writing cheques? I have tried several on line, but they all downloaded malware which caused endless problems. If not free, can someone suggest a cheapish one? I have Vista and M/S word. The cheques are TSB and Natwest.

Doesn't look like it. Too prone to fraud possibly. Previous query.

Why do you need a template? Just create your own.

You can test positioning by printing on light weight paper and holding it up to the light against a blank cheque to fine tune the positioning.

Or get a chequebook from the bank.

I print cheques using Word, not that difficult doing something like LastChip has suggested. Once you have set up the first one you can easily make minor adjustments to suit cheques from different banks and save them.

Making a template is easy in either Word or Excel, the difficult bit is getting the printer to accept the size of paper.

Have you thought of contacting your Bank?
