is there a limit ??

i have quicktime pro so i can export mov. files to avi.files but is there a limit, as all mov. files bigger than 3.5 meg dont convert i missing something or what ?? thanks for any help offered

Dont use quicktime also...but!

When you say it does not convert, does quicktime throw up a message box saying "Cannot Convert" or something similiar...

If the conversion seems to be taking a long time, i'm guessing there is a progress indicator. If it seems to stay at one point, just leave it for an hour or two...

You could also press Contol - ALt - Delete to see if quicktime has stopped responding or is still running.

i left it running for about 4 hours ,seems a bit excessive for a 4.5 meg file !! no indecators as to what its doing will try ctr alt del though thanks for your input
