Is it just me or we all not getting any advertisements on PCA today? Also the backgrund around the edges is showing as black. I'm not complaining you understand. In fact, I quite like it. Just checking?

You must be blocking ad's somewhere as I have the normal page.

  JBRKilluh 14:28 25 Jul 2010

yup I'm getting ads... have you tried loading a new page or going onto a different browser? i know that IE has these sorts of problems alot.

  rawprawn 14:30 25 Jul 2010

I never get Ads, I keep my Hosts File up to date
And run IE Pro

  Graphicool1 14:38 25 Jul 2010

I haven't installed anything for a few days. All other sites I click on are as per the norm. But hey, seriously, I'm really not complaining! I do run an ad blocker, but it's never blocked the banner ads on PCA, so I'm discounting that.

Give me a link to a web site that usually has lots of advertising and I'll check out.

I've made a note of your link and I'll give it a look later, cheer's!

I was having a bit of trouble yesterday with IE7. It was a tad slow and sticky. Showing blank screens etc. So I downloaded a free bit of software 'IEFix' it fixes...

It Fixes the following problems...

When you click a hyperlink in an e-mail message or on a Web page, or right-click a hyperlink on a Web page and then click Open in New Window, you may experience one or more of the following issues:

A - Nothing happens

B - The new window may be blank

C - You may receive a scripting error message

D - When you use the Print command or the Print Preview command in Internet Explorer, nothing may happen.

E - When you try to connect to Web folders, you may receive the following error message: "The current operation could not be completed because an unexpected error has occurred."

F - Internet Options Advanced tab is completely blank.

G -Internet Explorer About box version information is completely blank.

H - Address bar search does not work.

I -Unable to type in text boxes in a search engine or website.

What IEFix does...

Registers the core Internet Explorer libraries.

Repairs Internet Explorer using IE.INF method. (Windows XP)

Fixes the application path setting (Windows XP)

I haven't as yet installed it, I thought I would see if it sorted itself out first.
