Can anybody advise me on which is better for autocad; normal CRT monitor or Flat Screen? Advantages and disadvantages please.

I use a TFT for all my normal home computing, and would not change back to CRT, but! when it comes to CAD and precise graphics work, (colour saturation/contrast, and faithful reproductions on screen, then I think the CRT will be the better choice.

There are many users of the forum whom can give you qualified advise and sound judgment on this, and just two that spring to mind are, €dstow, and AndySD. Oh, and FE himself. J.

Yes, I would also reccoment CRT for design work as it will give you the best image and clarity.
