TFT Monitor Problem

  Legslip 20:07 04 May 2009

I have just replaced my CRT monitor with a widescreen HannsG TFT and there are black bands about an inch and a half wide at the top and bottom of the screen. Is this right?

Set to 1280 x 1024 and Win 2000. Can't get it to fill the screen.

what graphics card do you have?
my settings are 1440 x 900

  Legslip 20:39 04 May 2009

A Radeon 9200. Thanks for your help.

another thought, can the screen be dragged to fit which is a different issue?

  Legslip 20:48 04 May 2009

Tried all options but when the image is at its best I still get the banding. My thoughts are with the graphic card but I'm no expert. Perhaps trying new drivers?

Is this the one HannsG HI221D 22 Wide TFT Monitor?

You need to set the Screen Resolution to 1680 x 1050

“Set to 1280 x 1024 and Win 2000”

The Radeon 9200 Family graphics technology

16:9 aspect ratio monitors are supported on 1920x1080 and 848x480 on Windows® 2000 and

Windows Me.

The complete list of resolutions depends on the driver version and operating system.

NOTE: resolutions are limited by the performance of the attached monitor.

DVI-I monitors will be limited to 1600x1200.
