I think you may have difficulty in buying a TFT in that price range! So I would advise a good CTX display, preferably 19" flat panel.

Todays TFT's are excellent for games and DVD movies, But you will need to spend in the region of £300 to £350 for one with a decent response time for gaming. J.

Pop into your local PC store and ask them to run a demo game for you, judge for yourself, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. J.

i have a Proview 565 15" TFT i got from Dixons (where i work). I play DVDs and games on it and it has no problems at all - the max resolution is 1024x768 though, at a refresh of 75Hz. But this is fine for me as im not used with anything better.

the price? £189. don't think i will ever go back to a CRT

oops just realised you actually meant £360. well you should get a VERY good 15" for that or a reasonably good 17".
