Can somebody please tell me of any software I can use to send text messages to a mobile phone via my computer keyboard. I am using Windows 2000

Did say free download should have said demo !! i don't think there is any free messaging service out there.
But someone might know different

but I can't see a snag with NotePager 32. Or am I missing something here? Never used such a service myself. click here

I know not many people read their ISP homepage or follow any links on it but....

Mine (Tiscali) allows a number of free SMS messages per day.

Others may do the same.

I use it occasionally to send a text to someone, and it's as fast as a text from a mobile phone.

Downloading Notepager32 to have a look at..

you could try o2.co.uk, the last time i checked it was 30 free texts a month. or you could use cbfsms.com to get free texts even though you have to confirm your message a few times
