Testing MULTIPLE ports at once

Hey there everyone, is there a program out there or a method to test if multiple ports are open/closed? I have to test for like 100+ or so ports and to test them one by one would take a longtime!!!

Please, if you know a method to solve this problem, I would like to hear it.

Thanks,

netstat -a

to see ports in use on a machine.

Depends what kind of test you mean.

Yep, use the security scanner nmap at:

Great tool used by security experts and hackers. Just make sure you have permission before scanning networks as they frown at such things and may get upset ;)

Loads of info on this program out there and very easy to use.
