Testing Mail-Merge

Hi,

I'm currently doing my GCSE ICT coursework and i have done Mail-merge in Microsoft Word from my relational database in Microsoft Access. I'm also stuck on how to do testing for my two reports i made within Microsoft Access and don't know how to show testing. Does anyone know how I can do testing on my Mail-merge and on the reports i created? Any help grateful

By testing I take it you mean testing to see whether the programs work correctly. If this is the case, then I would run the programs to see if they work as per design. Making sure that all fields in Access work correctly, e.g. does the Post Code field enter the correct data, can different data be entered, checking each field in this way will ensure that the database is working correctly.

In Word, make sure all data that is required is imported correctly, and is in the correct fields.

At each stage of the testing write down the correct and incorrect outputs, taking screen shots when you think necessary.
