Tesco icon

Dear All

Having used Tesco pay as you go Dialup I have moved to Talk Talk broadband (a whole other topic) and am having a slight problem. I have unistalled tesco software and on the administrator account broadband works fine. The problem is that when I log on to another account on the same pc even though it connects to the wireless broadband network the tesco icon is still spinning in the top right corner and tesco are still charging me for time used. Any suggestions welcome.

First check that you are using the corect modem : Control Panel > Internet Options > Conection. Make sure that the default modem is the one for your talktalk broadband and not the 56k one used for dialup.

Or alternatively, delete completely the Tesco dial-up connection in Network Connections

unplug the dial up modem
