Telnet - pinging

When connected to address 193.63.xxx.xxx via Telnet and i ping that address i noiced that it pings a different one, 127.0.0.1. Does anyone know why that is?

to chk if ip address is working for your network/modem/adsl etc card u type ping 127.0.0.1
- u wil get 4 replies....try ping your ip address i bet it is 193.63 something??
do a ipconfig /all and see all settings etc

is 127.0.0.1 , you will be able to ping this no problem as it is in no doubt installed properly .

The telnet is pinging to that address because it will intrusively access everything back to your NIC card , it is just the way it works .
