I realise this isn't a PC problem but you're a friendly, knowledgable bunch out there and I just wondered if anyone might know why my teletext keeps endlessly scrolling on my TV.

Weak signal, maybe?

It's worked OK up until a couple of weeks ago.

Analogue TV reception can be very much affected by conditions in the upper atmosphere/sunspot activity and such like.

A few weeks ago my BBC1 reception on visuals and Ceffax was almost unwatchable. I had engineers out and they couldn't fix it but, without any alteration to the TV set, everything is perfectly OK - perhaps the problem has transferred to your set.

...to your set?>>

That's a bit of a mean trick...:-)

There used to be vertical and horizontal hold controls...

Gee, thanks €dstowe!
Guess I'll just have to try the old thump on the top of the box.

and the Teletext is great you just click on page numbers to access each page and you can also print them out - ;)
