I have installed Teamviewer on my desktop and laptop. On my desktop, Teamviewer runs automatically at startup but not on the laptop. According to CCleaner and msconfig, the startup programs are: Ctfmon.exe, msseces.exe, stsystra.exe, MSASCU.exe and dsl.mon.exe. There are a host of others but all disabled. I have gone through all the tabs in CCleaner but nothing there to suggests Teamviewer.

How does Teamviewer run at startup? More to the point, how do I stop it without uninstalling the program?

As an afterthought, I ram Taskmanager and I see TeamViewer_serv is present. If I delete it, it re-appears a few seconds later

Did your earlier thread not solve this issue?

Look in Extras\Options\General and tick or uintick "Start with Windows as appropriate. I think the service starts anyway no matter what you select but not sure.
