TCP/IP re-installing

When starting Windows 98SE I get a POPPROXY warning saying 'Norton is unable to start eMail protection. Ensure TCP/IP installed and port 110 is available'. When going on-line Internet Explorer6 states 'this page cannot be displayed' Can anyone tell me how to re-install TCP/IP. Thanks in advance.

Go to Network in Control Panel and check if TCP/IP is listed; if not click on the Add button, choosing the Protocol you require i.e. TCP/IP.

It is also fully explained in Microsoft's Help pages, which also guides you through the process; look under Networks/Networking.

Thanks for the rapid response guys.

I am now back on-line and don't have to keep a lap top balanced on my knees! Cheers.
