TAO image?

  jack 22:24 23 Mar 2005

I have been given a CD-R which has failed, to try to recover. It contained Jpegs in various folders.
So far using a ISO Buster I have pulled a quanity
of empty folders and one with a single image.
In another run using CD Data Rescue it delivered two disc images suffixed TAO.
What does one do with a TAO?
So far I have found nothing that will convert or run them.

you could try to burn it to CD using Nero's brun image function

if it does not work, ultraiso click here will deal with any CD image type, including open them and converting them

.tao is a file extension used for disk image files. It sounds as if your recovery program has done it's thing.

If you don't know what to do with the files after recovery, and it doesn' tell you in their documentation, why not email their support [email protected] ?

Their web site implies that you can only view the files with the unregistered version, not actually recover them.
