and all I came on line to find out was

what is

and found a strange home page instead!!

this adjustment is one for the lap top to start with me thinks

and no; I have not had any mails that I can recall to reconfigure things; they probably dont like me no more ::((

  p;3 21:09 04 Dec 2006

does that mean that talkgas no longer exists as such? and e mail addresses under it will be "extinct"?

  brundle 21:18 04 Dec 2006

From what I recall you only need to change your mail server settings ( and it should work with the original email address.

Thanks for the information you have made available.

Talkgas, sold via British Gas, supplied contact for talktalk (they sold their communications busines onetTel to talktalk, part of the Carphone Warehouse). Still waiting for a response from an email as you can only phone a callcentre in India who are aware of the problem with Talkgas email being removed and state there is no way of recovering the emails!! No email was sent to me advising of the closure of this site.

Your solutions works i.e. and

thanks again ... now... how to recover the website/space?
