I am sure there is a correct name for a mouse without a 'tail'
Could some one inform me the correct name please.
Also are they any good?
If they are- would someone be bold enough to suggest a make/model.
Many thanks

All computer mouse products have no tail...:-)

Do you mean a wireless or optical mouse?

If so anything produced by A4Tech will be excellent and many major brands rebadge its keyboard and mouse products under their own name.

That was my original reaction as well...:-)

Are you talking about a mouse without a wire, a "wireless" mouse maybe?

I am sure gel means cordless, but i have found a tailless...

Yes, they are excellent, removing of the drag caused by the cable is a godsend. Any well known brand will be fine, even some of the cheaper ones are better than most corded mice.

I have a good qualty make, Logitech. and find the placing of the cursor anywhere on the screen or the I beam between text is very fast and precise.

Thank you SANTOS7 for your humour and also for answering my question together with the other contributers.
So it seems I need a "wireless" or "cordless" wheeled mouse and a good model would be by LOGITECH
I am very grateful

A tail piece...:-)

Aldi and Lidl regularly feature wireless keyboard and optical mouse sets for around ?15.99 to ?19.99 - all to date have been rebadged A4Tech products by, amongst others, Trust and Silvercrest (the latter has a similar linkup with Lidl as Medion with Aldi).
