I have XP, how do I get a new browsing tab to open up each time?

If using Internet Explorer click on tools- internet options and on the general tab click on the settings tab in 'change how web pages are displayed in tabs'. Dot the button for ' a new tab in the current window'. Click ok.

Hi Dave

I've just had windows reinstalled on this machine, I've just noticed it's version 6, how do I get the latest version, and can you tell me please, how do I find out it's XP they've put back on?

Should have the XP logo showing on startup. If you need to update Internet Explorer go to windows update (or Microsoft update) and you should get the latest IE 8.

Should have added that if you right click 'My Computer', click on properties then the information is there under the general tab.
