system tray question

I got help here this week to clear up my start up menu in the system tray. It is now a lot faster, thanks very much.

Is there a program that you can install that lets you know if something is going to be added there, so as to give you the chance to allow it or stop it.

Just the ticket and would certainly recommend it to everyone...brilliant piece of software and does much more.... thats Winpatrol free click here Scotty will warn you everytime something tries to add to the startup,then your choice if you decide to allow this.

Are you using Winpatrol Plus or the basic version? It looks quite interesting and I am tempted to go for the Plus version but note that on their website there is no visible sign of security with regard to purchasing or am I missing something?
