My system Tray has 12 + icons on there! How do i clear them off of there, and how do I make sure they dont start on startup so I can boot up quicker?

Which version of Windows?

To stop applications launching at startup, Start, Run, type

msconfig

and click OK. (If you have Windows 2000 this won't work).

On the Startup tab, untick the ones that you do not wish to autostart.

The unlikely named Jackass JoeJoe's StartRight click here is an excellent and easy to use startup manager' which can ensure that things start in an orderly fashion, rather than all at once.

As far as I know, I've used it with 98se and xp home.

I read about it in the mag... Is it good?

Yes, it's very good.

BTW: How come when I try and open System Restore it asks if i want to continue running scripts on the page. I exit and open system restore again. Now it is just a blank screen. I exit and try again. It comes up with the scripts question again! It continues to do that sequence. Help?
