System Restore

  Large JD 16:49 24 Jan 2006

Having got my wireless network all up and running, i deceided to install Nortons firewall on my wireless laptop, now the wireless connection no longer detects any networks.

The cable works fine.

I have now uninstalled the nortons but still no joy.

Will completeing a system restore help improve the situation?

Or could someone give me a clue on where to look.

I have spent the last 2 days going from despair to joy, and now back to despair again.

Hey it's the rollercoaster life of owning a pc i suppose.

System Restore might work, any way it's worth a try and it wont do any harm you can always go back.
Look forward to the next upward roll on that coaster!

I'm on that upward roll...

Will my wireless pc network be secure enough with a belkin router with double firewall and windows firewall + nortons anti-virus?

Many Thanks for your previous advise
