System keeps shutting down when on the internet

Hi, can anyone help?, as I have the most annoying problem.
When I am on the internet, I keep getting a message come up to say my system is shutting down in 1 minute as initiated by NT authority/system. It then goes on to say that windows has had to shut down because the remote procedure call (RPC) service was terminated unexpectedly. There is a 1 minute countdown, and then my computer restarts.
There doesn't appear to be any pattern as to the time at which the message comes up, and I can't identify any triggering factors.
Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone know how to solve it.
Thanks

They don't have time to search!

Press the windows key and the R key, in the box that appears type the word as below

SHUTDOWN -a

Leave a space between shutdown and the - sign.

This will buy you more time.
