System Fault - True Vector

I'm getting a message, intermittently, from my Zone Alarm-: "True Vector security system is shut down" and telling me "System Fault - please re-boot". Doing this just causes the same message to re-appear. Browsing the net is impossible while the condition remains. What is "True Vector" - and how do I sort this problem? I'm on Windows XP Home and IE 6.0. Thanks for any help.

Yimbo, can't offer an answer on the vector thing (I think it's a tech term for how the ZA prog works - others more knowlegeable can advise). I had this some time ago and ended up un-installing and re-installing and it cured it.

From the Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services, check that the True Vector Service is set to Automatic.

Thanks Marco797 and Stuartli - Yes, the TV service is set to "automatic". What now? Why does it "turn itself off"? I'll try the un-instal/re-instal and see how that affects things Thanks again folks!
