This is to do with the Restore Point on XP.
I know how to manualy set a restore point.

My computer used to do a system checkpoint of it's own every few days or so. But now it doesn't.

The the restore point is ticked in the settings, so that isn't the problem.

Does anyone know how to turn this feature back ON?.

I don'thave any idea as to why it isn't doing now

Try right-clicking My Computer, then left-click Properties. You will see a tab marked System Restore. Select your drive, ensure that there is no tick in the 'disable system restore' box.

If you have Zone Alarm installed this can cause the problem.
